Job summary

Invenergy LLC is seeking a Principal Geothermal Engineer to guide subsurface technical efforts for a geothermal power plant during execution and development phases. You will oversee multiple workstreams, coordinate site surveys, reservoir modelling, and drilling oversight while collaborating with GIS and thermal teams.

The role requires a strong technical background, travel up to 25%, and a track record in geothermal projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in physics or a related engineering field is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience managing technical and engineering teams for geothermal projects.
• Experience in site surveys, heat transfer and reservoir modelling is required.
• Excellent teamwork, leadership and communication across organizational levels.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% and ability to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project efforts from development to COD under senior management guidance.
• Lead geothermal development activities including reservoir modelling and heat transfer.
• Collaborate with GIS/geoscience and thermal engineering teams on site layouts.
• Prepare reporting for management and customers; monitor progress and risks.
• Coordinate with procurement, contracts, and vendors; assist in contract preparation.
