Job summary

Invenergy, LLC in Chicago, IL seeks a Senior Project Manager for Geothermal Project Management to lead end-to-end development, drilling, and construction of geothermal plants.

You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets and schedules, oversee permitting, and ensure successful COD. Travel up to 25% and collaborate with engineering, procurement, and legal teams. A strong technical background in geothermal or related fields is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, civil, electrical, structural or petroleum engineering or geosciences with relevant experience.
• 8+ years in power plants or related industries; drilling experience in geothermal/oil & gas preferred.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale power projects from development to COD.
• Site experience in projects under construction and interface management with contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead project efforts from development to COD to meet scope, budget, and schedule.
• Coordinate project meetings and communications; evaluate proposals.
• Collaborate with commercial and finance teams for cost modeling and optimization.
• Identify and manage project risks; prepare periodic reports for management and client.
• Travel to project sites and manage multiple interfaces across packages and contractors.
