Job summary

Invenergy LLC seeks a Project Engineer, Thermal, to support development, permitting, engineering, construction, and commissioning of geothermal and thermal power projects across North America. You will coordinate with engineering consultants, manage bids, review P&ID and heat/mass balances, and help deliver projects within budget and schedule.

The role requires a strong background in thermodynamics, heat transfer, and combustion turbine performance, with travel up to 25% and a hybrid work

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering degree required.
• 3+ years in project engineering management of large capital projects.
• Familiarity with regulatory, siting, and environmental permitting processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform and review basic and detail design for power generation projects.
• Advise on feasibility using geothermal technologies and project constraints.
• Lead technical efforts during development and collaborate on reservoir modelling and design.

Education

BS in mechanical, electrical, civil, petroleum, chemical or related engineering
