Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Project Manager for our Energy & Resources line to lead multi‑discipline teams on thermal generation projects across North America. You will drive owner’s engineering and detailed design efforts for simple cycle, combined cycle, and repowering initiatives, while delivering client value and ensuring project outcomes.

You will lead planning, risk management, and execution across offices, mentor staff, and support business development with proven PM discipline and stakeholder

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years on power generation projects, Owner’s Engineer and/or detailed engineering/design.
• 5+ years in business development or as a “seller‑doer” (BD/sales experience).
• Registration as a Professional Engineer is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management expertise to Energy & Resources projects.
• Lead Energy projects/programs across North America.
• Support and contribute to PM best practices and frameworks.
