RTX is seeking an early career Thermal Engineer in Tucson, AZ to perform thermal analyses across the product lifecycle. You will use hand methods and FE tools to assess thermal performance, plan tests, and support production. The role requires collaboration with seasoned analysts and potential government engagements.

Candidates should have a STEM degree with 2+ years of experience or an advanced degree, and be able to obtain a U.S. security clearance. Onsite work at Raytheon facilities.

Qualifications

• Typically requires bachelor’s degree in STEM and 2 years of experience or advanced degree.
• Experience with thermal analysis tools and FE methods.

Responsabilités

• Perform hand calculations to scope higher detail analyses.
• Conduct detailed thermal analyses for program challenges.
• Generate test plans to validate analyses and hardware
• Analyze test data to validate models and correlations.
• Collaborate with peers and present results to customers.
• Review work for technical accuracy with team.
• Present results to internal, external, and government customers.
• Document work thoroughly and archive for reference.
