Job summary

The role interfaces with field teams and internal groups such as engineering and order management. Ideal candidates are pursuing a mechanical engineering degree, have strong communication, attention to detail, and proficiency with MS Office; English fluency is required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Proficient and fluent in English including technical terminology.
• Understanding of commercial infrastructure design objectives and performance factors.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Commercial or relevant industry experience preferred.
• Experience reading schematics and one-line diagrams preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides applications sales support.
• Applies Quote Configurator tool to provide comprehensive quote support.
• Performs equipment performance runs on Vertiv thermal management equipment.
• Assists in developing tailored solutions for customer review and acceptance based on requirements and RFPs, ensuring proper scope and specifications.
• Assists in review of custom equipment orders and provides technical instruction during order workflow.
• Executes technical sales operations tasks such as change orders and engineer-to-order processing.
• May assist in product support to Offering Managers.
• May participate in new product development projects.
• Other duties as assigned.
