Job summary

Vertiv is seeking an Engineering Intern - AC Power to support the Technical Sales Engineering team at our Delaware, Ohio site. You will help develop technical solutions, configure products, prepare proposals, and analyze customer requirements while working with experienced engineers.

The role offers exposure to engineering-based sales support, cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on product applications.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science; Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Strong communication skills including written and presentation abilities.
• Excellent problem-solving and detail-oriented mindset.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with ability to balance multiple priorities.
• Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, and MS Office; fluent in English with technical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Learn the fundamentals of Vertiv's AC Power product solutions.
• Assist Technical Sales Engineers with development of technically sound solutions based on customer requirements and RFPs.
• Support quote and proposal generation using product configurators and proposal tools.
• Assist with product selection, equipment configuration, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering, product management, manufacturing, and sales teams to support opportunities.
• May assist with post-sale technical support.
• Prepare and deliver presentations summarizing project work, technical analysis, or internship experiences.
• Other duties as assigned.
