Job summary

Houston Physicians' Hospital is seeking a Full Time Assistant Director of Therapy Services (PT, OT, SLP) to join our rehabilitation leadership team. The role supports the Director of Therapy Services in coordinating operations across our hospital and affiliated clinics, ensuring high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance.

You will supervise clinic managers and therapy staff, drive departmental strategy, and travel between locations as needed to maintain service excellence.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice Physical, Occupational, or Speech Therapy in Texas.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical practice experience and 1–2 years of supervisory or management experience.
• Experience coordinating multi-site therapy operations preferred.
• Familiarity with hospital or outpatient therapy billing, collections, and compliance requirements.
• Ability to travel between clinic locations as needed.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and standard internet/web applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid analytical and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Therapy Services in leadership and daily operations.
• Oversee day-to-day clinical operations across Memorial Hermann Houston Physicians' Hospital and affiliated clinics.
• Supervise clinic managers and therapy staff.
• Help execute departmental strategy and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain high standards of patient care.
• Act on behalf of the Director as needed.
