Job summary

Encompass Health in Dayton, OH is seeking a visionary Director of Therapy Operations to guide patient care and oversee therapy services across the organization. You will develop policies, lead staff, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations while driving operational excellence.

As a strategic leader, you will forecast revenues and expenses, collaborate with education partners, and champion staff development to deliver high-quality outcomes for our patients and communities.

Qualifications

• Current State license in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology.
• BLS (CPR) required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited therapy program.
• Master's or Doctorate degree in professional or management area preferred.
• Minimum of five years of rehabilitation experience, including two years in a management role.

Responsibilities

• Develop, revise, implement, and communicate policies, processes, and procedures, holding staff accountable for their roles.
• Collaborate with marketing to educate staff and the community on awareness, prevention, and treatment options; develop clinical affiliations with education institutions.
• Forecast operational revenues and expenses and advise on salary adjustments based on market conditions.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and professional regulatory requirements and communicate updates to staff and CEO.
• Provide patient care.
• Celebrate staff and patient achievements throughout the year.
