Concentra, Inc. is seeking a Physical Therapy Support Specialist (PTSS) to back the Center Therapy Director and Therapists in managing referrals, scheduling, and front/back office duties. You will help ensure timely authorizations, accurate records, and a welcoming patient experience.

The role emphasizes client communications, HIPAA compliance, and collaborative work with center leadership to optimize patient flow and care delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Referral management experience preferred.
• Medical office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain timely authorizations from clients and/or insurance carriers for therapy treatments.
• Maintain records for all active referrals using the referral module.
• Process referrals per state guidelines or client direction.
• Coordinate with clinicians to ensure referral-based therapy scheduling.
• Report denials or delays to leadership.
• Ensure visits stay within authorized counts and dates.
• Assist with front and back office tasks and patient flow.
• Maintain therapy equipment and facility cleanliness.
