Job summary

Concentra is seeking a Physical Therapy Support Specialist in Tampa, FL to assist the Center Therapy Director and therapists. You will manage referrals, schedule patients, assist with registration, and help maintain a clean and compliant therapy area.

The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and the ability to work as part of a collaborative patient-care team. Prior medical office experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in patient care and referral management is preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and PHI regulations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Obtain authorizations from clients or insurers for therapy treatments.
• Manage referrals and maintain records in the referral module.
• Schedule patients and assist with registration and check-out.
• Maintain therapy supply inventory and keep equipment logs.
• Support front and back office duties including patient greeting and calls.
• Ensure timely appointments within clinician's referral and authorizations.
