Concentra is seeking a Physical Therapy Support Specialist (PTSS) in Cherry Hill, NJ to assist clinicians, manage referrals, and support patient flow. The role helps ensure timely authorizations, accurate scheduling, and smooth front/back-office operations within a busy therapy center.

The PTSS collaborates with CTD and therapists to maintain quality care, handles registration, checkout, and equipment upkeep, and may perform back-office duties as assigned, while upholding HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least six months of referral management experience.
• Medical office experience preferred.
• Knowledge of state occupational medicine requirements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain authorizations for therapy treatments from clients/insurers.
• Manage referrals using electronic module and maintain status records.
• Schedule visits within authorized limits and dates.
• Assist with front desk duties: check-in/out, greeting patients.
• Maintain therapy department cleanliness and inventory.
• Assist with back-office tasks including urine drug screens as needed.
• Document denials or delays to leadership.
