Job summary

Concentra in Providence, RI, is seeking a Physical Therapy Support Specialist to assist the Center Therapy Director and therapists by handling referrals, scheduling, and back‑office tasks. You will help sustain patient flow, keep records accurate, and support front‑office duties as needed.

Ideal candidates have at least six months of referral management experience, strong customer service skills, and familiarity with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Six months or more of referral management experience.
• Working knowledge of state occupational medicine requirements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain authorizations for therapy treatments.
• Maintain and track referrals and correspondence.
• Schedule patient visits within authorized limits.
• Assist with patient registration and check‑out; manage supplies.
• Maintain clean, orderly therapy area and equipment.
• Cross‑train for front‑office duties including greeting patients and phone coverage.
