Job summary

Concentra is seeking a Physical Therapy Support Specialist (PTSS) in Ocala, FL to assist therapists and support patient flow. You will manage therapy referrals, schedule patients, register and check-out patients, and help with front/back office tasks while maintaining a welcoming, compliant environment.

The role requires strong customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with clinicians and insurance providers. Training and a collaborative team setting are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least six months referral management experience.
• Previous medical office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain timely authorizations for therapy treatments.
• Maintain records for active referrals in the EMR system.
• Process referrals to ensure adherence to state guidelines and client directions.
• Schedule visits within the clinician's referral limits and dates.
• Assist with patient registration and check-out; front/back office duties.
