Job summary

NorthLakes Community Clinic in Ashland, Wisconsin is seeking a Therapy Aide to assist the occupational, physical and speech therapy teams. You will prep therapy rooms, verify materials, and support providers and patients during visits.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent with at least three months of related experience or training. CPR and food safety certifications must be current or obtained within required timeframes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, plus three months related experience and/or training.
• CPR Certification must be current or obtained within the first six months of employment.
• Food Safety Certifications must be current or obtained within first 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Set-up, clean, restock, and organize all therapy rooms and associated spaces.
• Shop for, cook, and prepare items for food therapy sessions.
• Ensure a safe and healthy kitchen environment by following food safety rules and conducting temperature checks.
• Complete therapy equipment inventory on a regular basis.
• Perform daily laundry tasks and kitchen cleaning tasks.
• Manage the Lending Closet, including inventory, check-in/out, cleaning, and organization.
• Perform clerical duties such as making copies, creating reports, sending patient letters, and other tasks.
