Job summary

NorthLakes Community Clinic is seeking a Therapy Aide to assist occupational, physical, and speech therapy by prepping and cleaning therapy rooms and ensuring materials are ready for visits. The role supports providers and patients with equipment, inventory, and clerical tasks in a patient-centered environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, and CPR and Food Safety certifications are required or obtained early in employment. Knowledge of EHR and Microsoft/Google Office is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, plus three months related experience and/or training.
• CPR Certification must be current or obtained within the first six months of employment.
• Food Safety Certifications must be current or obtained within first 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Set up, clean, restock, and organize therapy rooms.
• Shop for, cook, and prepare items for food therapy sessions per instructions.
• Ensure a safe kitchen environment by following food safety rules.
• Complete therapy equipment inventory.
• Perform daily laundry and kitchen cleaning tasks.
• Complete monthly safety checks for therapy equipment.
• Manage the Lending Closet inventory, check items in/out, and organize.
• Perform clerical duties such as copies, reports, letters.
• Other duties as assigned.
