Job summary

SSM Health Physical Therapy in St. Charles, MO is seeking a Rehab Aide to assist therapists with rehabilitation procedures and to support center operations. This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule (8:00 AM–4:30 PM) with compensation starting at $18/hour, with increases based on experience.

Responsibilities include aiding therapists, scheduling ancillary services, and maintaining equipment. Qualifications include a HS diploma or GED and a valid driver's license; shuttle operation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Active driver's license in good standing required.
• Class E license for shuttle operations before start date.
• CPR certification preferred.
• First aid certification preferred.
• Prior experience in outpatient physical therapy center preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist therapists with rehabilitation procedures and help organize/schedule ancillary services.
• Observe and report any abnormal patient conditions, reactions or responses to treatment.
• Support center operations including scheduling ancillary services, follow-ups, program coordination and OSHA coordination.
• Clean, sterilize and prepare equipment.

Responsibilities

• Aide therapists in carrying out rehabilitation procedures, organize/schedule and keep records of ancillary services and support other center-specific functions
• Observe and report any abnormal patient conditions, reactions or responses to treatment
• Play a significant role in specific area of center operations (scheduling ancillary services and following up, overseeing a specific program, serving as OSHA coordinator, etc.)
• Clean, sterilize and prepare equipment

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Current State Driver’s License in good standing required
• Class E license allowing for the operation of the shuttle bus prior to start date.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPR certification
• First aid certification
• Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy center
