Job summary

Select Medical in Sunset Hills/Arnold Mo is seeking a Rehab Aide to assist therapists in outpatient rehabilitation and support center operations. The full-time schedule is M-F, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with pay starting at $18/hour and increases based on experience.

Responsibilities include assisting with procedures, organizing records, and maintaining equipment. Required qualifications include an OT Aide associate degree, COTA licensure eligibility or licensure, CPR, and a shuttle operation license

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in an OT Assistant program is required.
• Current and valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a COTA is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Class E license allowing shuttle operation is required before start date.

Responsibilities

• Aid therapists in carrying out rehabilitation procedures and assist with scheduling and record-keeping for ancillary services.
• Observe and report any abnormal patient conditions or responses to treatment.
• Support center operations, including scheduling, program oversight, OSHA coordination, and equipment handling.
• Clean, sterilize, and prepare equipment.

Responsibilities

• Aide therapists in carrying out rehabilitation procedures, organize/schedule and keep records of ancillary services and support other center-specific functions
• Observe and report any abnormal patient conditions, reactions or responses to treatment
• Play a significant role in specific area of center operations (scheduling ancillary services and following up, overseeing a specific program, serving as OSHA coordinator, etc.)
• Clean, sterilize and prepare equipment

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Associate's Degree in an OT Assistant program required
• Current and valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) required
• Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
• Class E license allowing for the operation of the shuttle bus prior to start date.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPR certification
• First aid certification
• Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy center
