Job summary

TOA Therapy is seeking a Patient Access Representative to act as the patients' advocate. This role handles scheduling, order processing, and insurance verification while delivering empathetic service across TOA physicians, locations, and services.

The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, can multitask, and works well with a team to ensure patients receive timely, accurate access to care. Travel between Murfreesboro offices may be required.

Qualifications

• Provide excellent customer service with a professional, empathetic phone manner.
• Maintain high attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Experience with EMR systems (NextGen) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and manage therapy orders via NextGen Task Basket.
• Contact patients to schedule therapy appointments.
• Answer inbound calls from new and existing patients.
• Review demographics and insurance information in NextGen for accuracy.
• Schedule appointments through NextGen and find convenient times for patients.
• Collaborate across TOA roles and clinics to resolve questions.
