Job summary

WestCare Foundation in Pembroke Pines, FL is seeking a licensed clinician for full-time work in nonprofit social services. The role involves conducting biopsychosocial assessments, developing Wellness and Recovery Plans, and providing individual and group therapy to residents and clients.

The ideal candidate has a master’s degree in a related field, two years of supervised therapy experience, and licensure preferred. HIPAA and ethical standards are emphasized throughout the role.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Addiction Counseling, Criminal Justice, Social Work, Psychology or related field required.
• Two years of supervised therapy experience preferred.
• Bilingual is preferred.
• Vaccination per agency policy may be applicable for COVID-19.

Responsibilities

• Conduct admission and Biopsychosocial assessments using standardized tools.
• Prepare and review Interpretive Summaries.
• Develop Wellness and Recovery Plans with the consumer.
• Conduct monthly Wellness and Recovery Plan Reviews.
• Document clinical services per licensing, Medicaid, Joint Commission standards.
• Provide individual and group counseling.
• Provide risk reduction counseling as needed.
• Prepare Discharge Summaries and Progress Reports for courts and agencies.
• Participate in discharge planning and case conferences.
• Ensure HIPAA, ethics, and confidentiality compliance.
