Job summary

WestCare Foundation in Pembroke Pines, FL is seeking a full-time admissions clinician to organize admissions, conduct screenings, and create initial wellness plans for clients upon intake.

The role requires a graduate degree in a related field, familiarity with DSM criteria, trauma-informed approaches, and coordination with referral sources. Bilingual skills are preferred to support diverse populations and county services.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a masters program in Addiction Counseling, Criminal Justice, Social Work, Psychology or related field is required.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Florida preferred.
• Bilingual abilities preferred to serve diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and facilitate admissions and intake assessments.
• Develop initial wellness and recovery plans in collaboration with clients.
• Coordinate with referral sources and support staff to ensure appropriate care levels.
• Maintain confidential client records and comply with licensing standards.
