Job summary

Qualifications

• Certification as a certified peer specialist preferred at hire; CEU requirements if certified.
• High school diploma required; college education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide recovery support to consumers.
• Conduct skills-building groups and activities as assigned.
• Advocate for and support children and families with care and respect.
• Provide peer support services using personal and professional experience.
• Coordinate with case managers to link individuals to needed services.
• Maintain HIPAA and confidentiality; document sessions and contacts.
• Promote wellness and recovery planning; participate in program activities.

Education
