Job summary

Easterseals Blake Foundation seeks a licensed behavioral health professional to conduct therapy with children and adults using evidence-based interventions. The role requires completing assessments, developing treatment goals, coordinating with a treatment team, and ensuring timely documentation and compliance with funding sources.

Therapist II/III will provide crisis assessment, DSM-5-TR/DC 0-5 diagnoses, and supervise trainees.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related behavioral health field eligible for licensure by AZ Board with two years related experience (BHT) or Associate license.
• AzBBHE-licensure progression for Therapist II/III.
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses behavioral health needs and develops therapy goals every 180 days at minimum.
• Administers screeners and standardized testing as clinically needed.
• Schedules therapy sessions and obtains required consents.
• Maintains clinical records per standards and funding requirements.
• Provides crisis assessment and intervention and arranges emergency psychiatric evaluation if needed.
• Diagnoses using ICD-10; DC 0-5 for birth to five; DSM-5-TR for children and adults.
• Completes progress notes with appropriate billing codes and reports to funding partners.
• Mentors or shadows to newer therapists and participates in ongoing professional development.
