Job summary

Easterseals Blake Foundation in Arizona is seeking a licensed behavioral health therapist (Therapist II/III) to deliver therapy to children and adults. The role emphasizes evidence-based interventions, charting, and collaboration with care teams across settings.

The position requires a Master’s degree in a behavioral health field and eligibility for AZ licensure; bilingual (Spanish) preferred. Competitive benefits and opportunities for professional development are offered.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical knowledge across the life span and evidence-based practices.
• Extensive knowledge of managed care systems, AHCCCS/Title XIX, and ADHS policies.
• Knowledge of current DSM criteria for the population served.
• Ability to read, record and interpret assessments, measures, and diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Assess behavioral health needs to develop therapy goals at least every 180 days.
• Administer screening and standardized testing as needed.
• Schedule therapy sessions and obtain treatment consent.
• Maintain clinical records per standards and complete timely progress notes.
• Develop treatment recommendations and coordinate follow-up services.
• Provide crisis assessment and intervention when indicated.
• Mentor/Train newer therapists and participate in professional development.
