The Willows at Red Oak Recovery in Fletcher, NC is seeking a Therapist to support women through individualized therapy for substance use and co-occurring disorders. You will assess, plan, and provide family education and ongoing therapeutic interventions within a trauma-informed program.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a human service field is required.
• Licensed or license-eligible as LCMHC, LCSW, or LMFT.
• Experience facilitating group therapy and experiential therapy is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain therapeutic relationships with clients and families.
• Assess clients and develop individualized treatment goals.
• Provide ongoing therapeutic interventions for recovery and mental health.
• Create assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in EMR.
• Collaborate with a treatment team for coordinated care.
• Complete documentation within one week of service.

The Willows at Red Oak Recovery in Fletcher, NC, offers a women-only treatment experience designed to heal the whole person…mind, body, and spirit. Surrounded by the serene Blue Ridge Mountains, our trauma-informed program helps women address substance use and emotional pain through individualized therapy, holistic wellness, and evidence-based care. We empower women to rebuild their lives with strength, connection, and lasting purpose. At The Willows, women receive personalized treatment that includes comprehensive therapy sessions, empowering activities, and support from others to build confidence, improve clarity, and achieve lasting emotional wellness. We are seeking a Therapist who can provide education and support to clients with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders including but not limited to assessment, planning, individual and family support, and family education.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain therapeutic relationships with clients and their families
• Accurately assess clients and develop individualized treatment goals, using client input, and client strengths, abilities, needs and preferences
• Provide ongoing therapeutic interventions to assist clients in overcoming challenges
• Produce assessments, treatment plans, and other records in a timely manner
• Work in collaboration with other professionals as part of a treatment team
• Complete and upload all documentation to EMR within one week of service or as indicated by supervisor
• Complete pre-admission assessments, clinical assessments, treatment plans, weekly progress notes, group notes, discharge summaries and transition plans
• Develop and maintain relationships with referring professionals
• Initiate appropriate referrals to aftercare programs
• Utilization review and ASAM for insurance companies

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree in human service field
• Licensed as LCMHC, LCSW, or LMFT or license eligible
• Experience in facilitating group therapy
• Experience with experiential therapy

Preferred Qualifications

• LCMHC, LCSW, or LMFT and LCAS or pursuing LCAS
• Dually licensed in both addiction and mental health treatment (or willing to seek both)
• Experience working with adults in an eco-therapeutic setting
