Passavant Memorial Homes Family of Services is seeking full-time Therapeutic Staff Support (TSS) in the Delmont area. Open interviews are held at multiple PA locations; obtain orientation and employment details during the sessions.

The role emphasizes compassionate, one-on-one support with children in home or community settings, including meals, transportation, and medication administration after training. Open interviews run 9am-3pm on select days; bring a photo ID.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old and have a valid driver’s license.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; transcripts must be supplied.
• Two years’ experience working with children with ID or mental health required.
• Alternate: Associate degree with 60 credits and four years’ experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and specialized daily living activities.
• Support independence and implement individual support plans.
• Monitor safety and well-being of individuals.
• Assist and encourage participation in home/community activities.
• Record observations and report changes.
• Administer medications after certification and training.
• Maintain records for individuals.
• Perform housekeeping and vehicle cleaning duties.
