Job summary

Passavant Memorial Homes Family of Services seeks responsible, caring full-time Therapeutic Staff Support (TSS) in West Newton. Positions include daylight, evening (2:00 pm–12:00 am), and overnight block shifts with on-call duties. Open interviews are offered at regional offices with potential on-the-spot hiring.

Benefits include medical/dental/vision insurance, PTO, 401(k), and a $23/hour base wage with a 50-cent block premium. Sign-on bonus of $5,000 is available for full-time TSS hires.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 21 years of age is required.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field (official transcripts required).
• Two years experience working with children with ID or mental health is required.
• OR Associates degree or 60 credit hours with four years experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care services and specialized daily living support.
• Assist to foster maximum independence of individuals.
• Participate in development and implementation of individual support plans.
• Ensure safety and well-being of individuals.
• Encourage engagement in home and community activities.
• Observe behaviors, document and report changes.
• Administer medications after certification (training provided).
• Maintain records regarding individuals.
• Perform housekeeping and cleaning duties.
