Job summary

Compass Pathways is expanding its Therapeutic Sales force in Alabama/Pensacola to drive adoption of an innovative mental health therapy. You will operate as a field-based, individual contributor, building relationships with psychiatrists, centers, and payers while aligning with regulatory and patient access frameworks.

The role requires clinical acumen, a consultative approach, and strong collaboration with Medical Affairs and Market Access to ensure successful launch and patient access.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (advanced degree preferred).
• 5–8+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech sales experience, preferably in specialty or complex therapeutic areas.
• Experience in psychiatry, CNS, or behavioral health markets preferred.
• Experience with payer processes, prior authorization, and site-of-care models.
• Proven success launching novel therapies and working in pre-launch environments.

Responsibilities

• Execute territory-level commercial strategy for launch and uptake.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with psychiatrists, treatment centers, and healthcare systems.
• Deliver scientifically accurate, compliant product education to providers.
• Identify appropriate patients and assist in referral pathways.
• Collaborate with sites to support onboarding and treatment workflows.
• Navigate site-of-care dynamics and patient flow.
• Partner with Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Commercial to ensure coordinated execution.
• Support patient access by understanding reimbursement pathways.
• Gather field insights to inform brand strategy and launch.
• Manage territory planning, call planning, and performance tracking.
• Demonstrate ethical, compliant, patient-centric behaviors.
• Contribute to collaboration and continuous learning within sales.
