Job summary

Compass Pathways plc is seeking a Therapeutic Sales Specialist to drive adoption of a novel mental health therapy across certified treatment centers. This field-based role requires building strong relationships with psychiatrists and healthcare providers, while aligning with regulatory and patient access frameworks.

You will operate at the intersection of clinical education, account management, and patient access, contributing to a multi-site launch in a challenging specialty area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 5–8+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience, preferably in specialty/complex areas.
• Experience in psychiatry, CNS, or behavioral health markets is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute territory-level commercial strategy to support launch and uptake of the therapy.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with psychiatrists, treatment centers, behavioral health systems, and other stakeholders.
• Deliver scientifically accurate, compliant education to healthcare providers.
• Identify appropriate patients and assist providers with referral pathways.
• Collaborate with treatment sites to optimize onboarding and delivery workflows.
• Navigate site-of-care dynamics, including scheduling and patient flow.
• Partner with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Patient Support, and Commercial Operations for coordinated execution.
• Support patient access by understanding reimbursement pathways and provider challenges.
• Gather and communicate field insights to inform brand strategy and launch execution.
• Manage territory business planning, call planning, and performance tracking.
