Job summary

Outfield Healthcare Partners is seeking an energetic professional to plan and implement activity programs that enrich the lives of residents across social, spiritual, intellectual, emotional, educational and physical dimensions.

You will assess resident needs, develop comprehensive recreational services, and document progress while collaborating with care teams. This role includes coordinating schedules, supervising volunteers, and contributing to a budget for activities and entertainment.

Responsibilities

• Plans and executes activity/leisure programs to meet social, spiritual, intellectual, emotional, educational and physical needs of residents.
• Develops and implements therapeutic recreation programs to address psycho-social, physical, and cognitive needs.
• Performs assessments and organizes recreational services to match residents' individualized needs.
• Creates monthly calendars of activities and posts them for residents and staff.
• Documents resident preferences, attendance and progress; participates in care planning meetings.
• Coordinates resident activities with community, staff, families and volunteers.
• Assists in training department personnel and monitors budgets for activities supplies and entertainment.
