Anthropic is seeking a Research Scientist in Life Sciences to lead antibody design and engineering programs, bridging AI-driven hypotheses with experimental validation. You will oversee end-to-end antibody programs from target selection to IND-enabling studies, collaborating with AI researchers and external partners, and shaping trial-ready candidates.

Formación

• PhD in biochemistry, protein engineering, immunology, molecular biology, or a related field.
• Experience advancing antibody programs from discovery through candidate selection and IND-enabling studies.
• Knowledge of antibody IND requirements across pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, toxicology, and CMC.
• Hands-on antibody expression, purification, and biophysical characterization.
• Strong written and verbal communication across cross-functional teams.

Responsabilidades

• Design and engineer therapeutic antibodies end to end, including target/epitope selection and format choices.
• Define screening cascades, binding kinetics, epitope binning, and developability assessments.
• Plan lead to IND-enabling studies, including in vivo pharmacology, PK, and toxicology.
• Coordinate antibody production, characterization, and in vitro/in vivo studies with CROs and partners.
• Evaluate AI-designed antibodies and translate results to experiments.
• Maintain high-quality, well-documented data across programs.
