Job summary

Associated Controls + Design is seeking a Rigging Inspector to join our team in Indianapolis, IN. The role involves on-site rigging inspections, reporting, and collaboration with sales and project management to support installation projects.

You will read and interpret drawings, provide design input, and help expand our inspection and maintenance services. Travel up to 75% is required; a strong safety mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of stage rigging experience.
• ETCP Theatre Certified Rigger (or eligible to certify within 6 months).
• Experience with MS Office, Acrobat/Bluebeam, Vectorworks or AutoCAD.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a safety mindset.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site rigging inspections in various venues.
• Complete written reports and documentation promptly.
• Read/interpet/manipulate specifications and drawings.
• Provide system design expertise to support sales and project management.
• Maintain and develop customer relationships.
• Coordinate labor and materials for inspections.
• Other duties as assigned.
