Job summary

Encore Global is hiring a Rigging Compliance Technician responsible for maintaining rigging equipment and infrastructure to meet ANSI, ASME, ESTA standards. You will inspect, repair, document activity, and coach other technicians toward qualification while managing inventory and ensuring safety.

Minimum 5+ years in rigging within the hospitality industry and 3+ years of rigging inspections, plus ability to travel up to 50% across the U.S.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of rigging experience within the hospitality industry.
• 3+ years of rigging inspections experience.
• Willingness to travel within the U.S. and Canada up to 50%.
• Proficient with general business computer systems and functions.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of rigging equipment and electronics.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain rigging equipment to meet ANSI/ASME/ESTA standards.
• Submit inspection reports and track project costs after inspections.
• Coach and develop other technicians in compliance initiatives.
• Perform routine inspection, load testing, maintenance and repair of rigging gear.
• Ensure equipment meets manufacturer specifications and is cosmetically acceptable.
• Travel up to 50% within the U.S. and Canada as required.
