Job summary

Associated Controls + Design is seeking a Rigging Inspector to join our team in Indianapolis, IN. The role involves on-site rigging inspections, creating detailed reports, and providing system design input to support sales and project management.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in stage rigging, ETCP Theatre Rigger certification or the ability to obtain it within six months, and experience with Vectorworks or AutoCAD. Travel up to 75% is required; evenings/weekends may be needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of stage rigging experience with related field exposure.
• ETCP Theatre Certified Rigger or ability to certify within 6 months of hire.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Acrobat/Bluebeam, Vectorworks or AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site rigging inspections in various venues.
• Complete written reports and supporting documentation in a timely manner.
• Read/interpret/manipulate specifications, building plans & drawings, riser diagrams, etc.
• Provide system design expertise to support sales and project management personnel.
• Maintain existing and develop new customer relationships.
• Learn and apply ACD system design, inspection, and installation standards.
• Coordinate labor and materials necessary for completing inspections.
