Job summary

Belmont University in Nashville is seeking a student helper to assist the Technical Director in the Scene Shop and provide technical support for productions. This role requires a current Belmont student with general knowledge of technical production, shop safety, and experience in theatre tech. You will help with sound, lighting, projection, and carpentry tasks during productions.

Qualifications

• Must be a current Belmont student.
• Technical theatre production experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help maintain safety standards and organize equipment for each production.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

To assist Technical Director in Scene Shop and provide technical support (Sound, Lighting, Projection, Carpentry) for all productions.

Required Qualifications General knowledge of Technical Production work as well as Scene Shop procedures and shop safety guidelines for Theatre & Dance Department.

Required Education Must be a current Belmont student.

Required Experience Technical theatre production work.
