Job summary

Regal Lansing Mall is seeking a full-time Assistant Manager (Theatre) to oversee daily theatre operations, supervise staff, and ensure policy compliance. The role requires open availability including weekends/holidays, and includes responsibilities such as operating projection equipment, managing safety, and coordinating showtimes.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent and supervisory experience or theatre experience with Cast Certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least three months supervisory experience, or 6 months theatre experience with Cast Certification Program, or potential leadership shown with VP approval.
• Experience supervising staff and coordinating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Regular and consistent attendance; available weekends and holidays; open/close shifts.
• Supervise and coach non-management staff; ensure theatre policies are followed.
• Operate theatre projection and audio-visual equipment and related systems.
• Ensure alcohol certification where applicable; maintain safety and risk management.
• Handle cash receipts, deposits, and reconciliation; manage inventory and supplies.
• Assist with hiring, scheduling, and disciplinary actions; training staff as directed.
• Oversee maintenance and repairs; coordinate with contractors when needed.
• Contribute to marketing and promotions; manage showtimes and communications.
