AMC Entertainment in Gaithersburg, MD is seeking a Supervisor to lead theatre crews and ensure smooth daily operations for guests and staff. You will coach teams, manage floor operations, and supervise opening/closing tasks while upholding AMC standards.

The role requires evening/weekend availability, strong guest service and leadership abilities, and a commitment to safety and operational excellence in a fast-paced theatre setting.

Qualifications

• Six months of supervisory or commensurate leadership experience.
• Evening, weekend, and occasional holiday availability.
• Must be at least 18 years old; other location-specific age requirements may apply.
• Be a reliable teammate by showing up on time.
• Willing to complete required training and certifications provided by AMC.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and coach theatre crew members through daily responsibilities and guest service.
• Oversee opening and closing procedures and access for vendors during off-hours.
• Assign registers, distribute banks, and reconcile floor safes.
• Pull and count cash, coupons, and equivalents; enter results and prepare deposits.
• Support inventory processes and assist in crew scheduling (final approval by management).
• Troubleshoot system issues by opening support tickets and following up on resolution.
