Job summary

Cinemark is seeking an Assistant Manager to help oversee theatre operations and ensure policies are followed to achieve high standards. You will be cross trained across departments and play a pivotal role in mentoring Employees through the Management Accreditation Program, with a clear path toward Senior Assistant Manager and Theatre Manager roles.

You’ll foster guest satisfaction, manage cash handling, and train staff while upholding safety and company guidelines in a fast-paced entertainment

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School or GED preferred.
• Completion of Cinemark’s Management Accreditation Program courses (three basic courses).
• Completes basic food handling training and any local/state certifications.
• Management members handling alcohol must complete Safe Alcohol Service training.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Regular and consistent attendance is required.
• Excellent Guest service and cash handling skills.
• Strong English communication (verbal and written).
• Ability to train and lead others.
• Ability to resolve conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Follows the direction of the General Manager.
• Supports GM’s decisions in communication with staff.
• Responsible for working in all departments and all theatre job functions.
• Trains and coaches Team Members in their specific job functions.
• Assists in preparing administrative and special reports for the GM.
• Inspects theatre facilities and reports repairs as needed.
• Ensures team members follow dress code.
• Interacts with Guests to provide superior customer service.
• Enforces Cinemark guidelines with fairness and consistency.
• Reports Employee relations issues as required.
• Maintains high work ethic and code of conduct.
• Safely uses PPE and adheres to safety protocols.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
