Job summary

Cinemark Assistant Managers assist in the overall operation of the theatre. They ensure policies and procedures are followed and operational standards are achieved.

They are cross trained in all departments to support where needed, and to provide inspirational training to all Employees. The Assistant Manager can become a Senior Assistant Manager followed by Theatre Manager or General Manager after finishing the Management Accreditation Program and working for a minimum of six months.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School or G.E.D. graduate preferred.
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to train and lead others and to resolve conflict.
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Follows the direction of the General Manager.
• Supports GM decisions in communication with staff.
• Works in all theatre departments and job functions.
• Trains and coaches team members in their functions.
• Assists in preparing administrative and special reports for the GM.
• Monitors safety, cleanliness, and presentation of theatre and property.
• Ensures team members uphold dress code and deliver superior guest service.
