Job summary

Cinemark is seeking an Assistant Manager to support theatre operations, ensure policies are followed, and achieve high service standards. You will be cross trained across departments and mentor employees as you progress through the Management Accreditation Program toward Theatre Manager or General Manager.

Applicants should be 18+, hold a high school diploma or GED, complete MAP Core, and be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Complete Cinemark's Management Accreditation Program courses.
• Complete basic food handling training and obtain required certifications.
• Alcohol-service training if handling alcohol.
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Strong cash handling and math skills.
• Ability to train and lead others.
• Works well in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Follows the direction of the General Manager.
• Supports decisions in staff communication.
• Works in all departments and theatre functions.
• Trains and coaches Team Members.
• Prepares administrative reports.
• Monitors theatre facilities and equipment.
• Ensures safety, dress code, and courtesy.
• Maintains compliance with policies.
• Addresses employee relations issues.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
