Job summary

Cinemark USA, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager to help operate the theatre and uphold policies and standards. You will be cross-trained across departments, coaching staff and supporting the General Manager.

Eligible candidates can progress to Senior Assistant Manager, Theatre Manager, or General Manager after completing the Management Accreditation Program and six months of service. Responsibilities include supervising staff, training teams, reporting, safety checks, and ensuring customer

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School or G.E.D. graduate preferred.
• Completion of Cinemark’s Management Accreditation Program courses.
• Completes basic food handling training and obtains local/state certification where required.
• Management personnel handling alcohol must complete Safe Alcohol Service training.
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Regular and consistent attendance.
• Energetic and friendly attitude during each shift.
• Provides excellent Guest service.
• Accurate cash handling and basic math skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to work in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Follows the direction of the General Manager.
• Supports General Manager’s decisions in staff communication and operations.
• Works in all departments and theatre job functions.
• Trains and coaches Team Members in their functions.
• Assists in preparing administrative and special reports.
• Inspects building, parking, landscaping and equipment; reports repairs to GM.
• Ensures dress code compliance for Team Members.
• Interacts with guests to provide superior service.
• Adheres to Cinemark policies and code of conduct.
• Reports Employee relations issues to GM per protocol.
• Maintains high work ethic and conduct standards.
• Identifies and sanitizes high-contact areas; uses PPE appropriately.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
