Job summary

Cinemark USA, Inc. in Charlotte, NC seeks an Assistant Manager to help run daily theatre operations and ensure top‑notch guest service. You will be cross‑trained across departments and support the General Manager in executing policies and standards.

You will complete Cinemark’s Management Accreditation Program and train team members, with a pathway to Senior Assistant Manager or Theatre Manager after six months of service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School or GED preferred.
• Completion of Cinemark's Management Accreditation Program.
• Completes basic food handling training and obtains any local or state mandated certification, health card, or food handlers permit where required.
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Regular and consistent attendance.
• Provides excellent Guest service and cash handling.
• Ability to train and lead others.
• Strong time management and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Follows the direction of the General Manager and supports staff.
• Interacts with Guests to deliver superior customer service.
• Trains and coaches Team Members in their roles.
• Ensures compliance with Cinemark guidelines and safety protocols.
• Works across all theatre departments as needed.
• Addresses safety, security, and maintenance issues.
• Maintains professional appearance and dress code.
• Notes and reports employee relations issues to GM.
