Harvard University seeks a Bar and Concessions Manager for the A.R.T. to lead the food and beverage operation at the Goel Center for Creativity & Performance.

You will supervise hourly staff, coordinate with event teams, and ensure high-quality service for lunch, intermissions, and private events. The role reports to the Director of Event Sales and Rentals and requires working evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, with a focus on exceptional customer experience and compliance with

Formación

• Minimum of 2 years' relevant work experience.
• Supervisory experience or lead role in hospitality/foodservice.
• Budgeting and inventory management.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, intermediate Excel skills.
• Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
• Operational experience with industrial kitchen equipment (dishwasher, oven, ventilation systems).
• Experience with food service applications and computerized menu management systems.

Responsabilidades

• Staff management: hire, train, and supervise hourly staff.
• Administrative duties: monitor menu and inventory, ensure cost control, conduct weekly audits, maintain inventory levels.
• Food service duties: ensure quality, sanitation, licenses, and safety compliance.
• Collaborate with directors and teams to plan concessions for events.
• Maintain relationships with external vendors and ensure smooth service during intermissions and private events.
