Job summary

Harvard University - American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) seeks a Director of Event Sales and Rentals to build a strategic earned income model around private rentals and hospitality. You will plan, price, and execute events in close collaboration with artistic, development, production, and marketing teams.

The role requires leading a small team, managing complex contracts, and ensuring exceptional customer service across Goel Center venues, while aligning with A.R.T.’s mission and season

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree related field or equivalent training.
• Minimum 7 years relevant work experience.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel; experience with event management software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic earned income model around event rentals.
• Lead planning and execution of private events and Harvard events.
• Collaborate with artistic, development, production, and marketing teams.
• Manage budgets, calendars, and vendor relations.
