Job summary

Harvard University’s American Repertory Theater seeks a Bar and Concessions Manager to lead beverage operations for public and private events. You will supervise hourly staff, manage inventory, and ensure high-quality service in a busy arts venue.

Reporting to the Director of Event Sales and Rentals, you will collaborate with departments to plan concessions, maintain safety standards, and uphold university policies across front- and back-of-house spaces.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ relevant work experience.
• Supervisory and budgeting experience required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead bar and concessions operations for events and performances.
• Supervise hourly staff, scheduling and performance management.
• Monitor inventory, cost controls and monthly audits.
• Coordinate with events teams for private functions.
