Job summary

Cinemark Assistant Managers assist in the overall operation of the theatre. They ensure policies and procedures are followed and standards are achieved, cross-training in all departments to support where needed and to provide inspirational training to team members.

The role offers a path to Senior Assistant Manager, Theatre Manager, or General Manager after the Management Accreditation Program and six months of service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School or G.E.D. graduate preferred.
• Completion of Cinemark Management Accreditation Program được required.

Responsibilities

• Follows the direction of the General Manager.
• Supports General Manager’s decisions in communication with the staff.
• Responsible for working in all departments and all theatre job functions.
• Trains and coaches Team Members in their specific job functions.
• Assists in the preparation of administrative and special reports for the General Manager.
• Observes and participates in inspection of the theatre building, parking lot, landscaping, and equipment.
• Reports the need for repairs to General Manager.
• Ensures theatre Team Members follow the dress code.
• Interacts with Guests for improved service and ensures superior customer service.
• Learns and enforces Cinemark guidelines with Team Members.
• Reports Employee relations issues to the General Manager.
• All management members adhere to high work ethic and code of conduct.
• Identifies and sanitizes high-contact areas.
• Uses PPE appropriately.
• Adapts to cleaning task frequency and scope.
• Addresses safety or security issues promptly.
• Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
