Corner Table Restaurants is looking for Managers to join our team at The Smith!

The Smith, a casual American brasserie, opened in 2007 in the East Village, New York City. The Smith has four locations in Manhattan and one in Washington, DC, with plans to continue growing. The menu features bistro classics, seasonal fare, and craft cocktails. The Smith offers a lively atmosphere for various dining occasions and partners with local farmers and purveyors to serve food and drinks guests crave.

The Smith’s locations in Manhattan are among the top 100 grossing restaurants in the United States, collectively serving close to two million guests annually. Three of the four locations are consistently in the OpenTable Top 10 “most reserved” restaurants in NYC, with The Smith Lincoln Square frequently near the top.

Manager’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Build a capable and confident team and develop them to manage a great restaurant.
• Oversee and ensure all company systems and policies are maintained.
• Control costs including labor, food, beverage and supplies.
• Uphold company food safety, handling and sanitation requirements to ensure guest and team member health and safety.
• Enforce and maintain all labor laws and practices.
• Complete regular performance reviews and provide frequent feedback.
• Assist in forecasting and budgeting.
