Overview

Corner Table Restaurants is looking for a Maitre'd to join our team at The Smith!

The Smith is an established American brasserie with four bustling locations in Manhattan - East Village, Midtown, Lincoln Center and Nomad. All of our locations are large, high energy and high volume restaurants with fun bars, great food and warm hospitality. The Smith serves breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner featuring a selection of farm fresh, familiar and creative bistro dishes using local, natural and sustainable ingredients.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and seat guests with menus.
• All guests must be treated in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction. Refer to VG’s by name when appropriate.
• Take names at the door and make sure that reservations are seated immediately.
• Manage the floor plan board.
• Clean, organize, and stock menus at host area.
• Answer phone and answer questions concerning the menu and the restaurant.
• Interact with guests in and as they leave the restaurant to ensure positive dining experience.
