THE SMITH in New York is hiring a Busser to support dining service by resetting tables, maintaining a clean dining room, and assisting servers to ensure a smooth guest experience.

You will collaborate with the team, uphold food safety standards, and contribute to a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Experience as a bartender is noted as a plus; we offer a competitive hourly rate and a comprehensive benefits plan.

Responsibilities

• Reset and prepare tables quickly and efficiently to support the flow of service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room, including clearing tables and restocking service area.
• Support servers and runners by assisting with water service, bread service, and general table maintenance.
• Anticipate guests and team needs to ensure a smooth dining experience.
• Work with all Smith team members to maintain pace and hospitality standards.
• Uphold all food safety, handling, and sanitation requirements.
• Assist with opening and closing side work, including stocking, polishing, and cleaning.
