The Heritage Group is seeking a Total Rewards Intern to join our HR team. You will assist with compensation auditing, requests, benchmarking and reporting while developing skills valuable for a career in rewards and people operations.

Qualifications

  • Required High School or Equivalent
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in human resources, benefits, finance, health/wellbeing or related fields.
  • Experience with MS Office with emphasis on Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Strong data analysis and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Discretion with confidential data.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with compensation auditing.

As a Total Rewards Intern and part of the Human Resources team, you will contribute to the compensation practices and talent and career projects, initiatives, and processes. You will have the opportunity to apply and expand your knowledge to assist with real business challenges, connect and build relationships with leaders and colleagues, and enhance skills that are transferable to any professional setting.

Essential Functions
  • Assist with compensation auditing.
  • Assist with compensation requests.
  • Assist with compensation benchmarking and survey completion.
  • Analyze total rewards data and develop reports to support decision-making.
  • Use project management skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and colleagues across the business.
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned, including but not limited to continuously growing in alignment with the Company’s core values, competencies, and skills.
Education Qualifications

Required High School or Equivalent Preferred Bachelor's Degree Rising Junior or Senior in who is actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in human resources, benefits, finance, health/wellbeing or related fields.

Experience Qualifications

Required interest in Human Resources. Skills and Abilities Experience with MS Office with an emphasis on Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Strong communication skills, both oral and written. Strong data analysis and attention to detail. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work well independently and with minimal supervision. Self-motivated, with demonstrated high level of responsibility and professionalism. Ability to exercise discretion with confidential data.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Must have the ability to lift and carry small parcels, packages and other items and walk short distances.
